Can I mail in a check?
Yes! Please make checks payable to the University of Florida Foundation, and be sure to put the area you want the gift to support in the memo line. Mail checks to:

Can I make a donation over the phone?
Yes, via the UF Foundation’s secure phone line, available 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. ET, Mon-Fri: 1-877-351-2377.

Can I donate something unusual?
Yes! We accept gifts-in-kind, including but not limited to livestock, farm equipment, vehicles and real estate. Have something you’d like to donate? Talk to one of our development officers today at (352) 392-1975 or advancement@ifas.ufl.edu. More information on gifts-in-kind can be found here.

I don’t see the fund I want to give to.
Try searching UFF’s fund database by typing into the search bar in the “Other Giving Options” box on the right side of the page. We are still in the process of adding funds to our website – Sorry for the inconvenience. Let us know which one you're looking for here and we'll add it as soon as possible.

When is the deadline for tax credit?
In order to receive tax credit for a calendar year, your gift must be postmarked on or before December 31 or submitted via the online giving link by 11:59 pm on December 31 of that year.

How can I start a scholarship?
Scholarship money is generated as the income from an endowment. More information about endowments can be found here. If you are interested in establishing an endowed scholarship, contact one of our development officers at (352) 392-1975 or advancement@ifas.ufl.edu. In the meantime, there are several existing scholarships to support here.
